The case of Jyoti Maurya of Uttar Pradesh may have stopped now, but a similar story has been seen again in Bihar. As soon as the wife wore a uniform after marriage, her attitude changed. The wife refused to live with her husband. The case is of Darha village under Bakhri police station area of Begusarai district. Regarding the incident, local people say that Vijay Kumar (30), son of Prithvi Rai, a resident of Darha village, got married to Roshni Kumari, daughter of Ram Vinay Rai, a resident of Sanha village of Sahebpur Kamal police station area, on 15 June 2013. After marriage, Roshni expressed her desire to study further. Roshni’s husband Vijay Kumar allowed her to study. Not only this, he also started bearing the expenses of his wife’s studies. To meet the shortage of money, Vijay Kumar started working at a local Dharma Kanta for a nominal amount.
The intention changed when the job was done
Time passed and one day Roshni got a government job. In October 2022, she was reinstated as a constable in Bihar Police. After reinstatement, Roshni joined the post of constable in Bihar Police on 15 October 2022. Before going for training, she told her husband to take care of himself and to meet him soon and went to complete her training. During this training, the distance between them increased day by day. The conversations became less. And then there came a time when Roshni clearly distanced herself from Vijay by saying that now she does not want to live with him.
The woman’s brother and father are also putting pressure
Vijay said that after 11 years of marriage, she is saying that now I do not want to live with you. Hearing this, Vijay Kumar was stunned. He started trying his level best to make Roshni give up her decision. Vijay Kumar tried a lot to convince Roshni but Roshni did not agree. Not only this, Roshni’s father and brother Vijay also started pressuring to get a divorce from Roshni. On Saturday afternoon, Roshni reached Vijay’s house Birha with her father and brother and they started asking Vijay to give divorce. But Vijay and his family started stopping Roshni from going. The high voltage drama continued for about an hour. As soon as the information of the case was received, Bakhri police brought both the parties to the police station.
