In Bhojpur, criminals have attacked and killed a shopkeeper with a sharp weapon. The deceased was attacked with a sharp weapon on his head and neck, due to which he died on the spot. There has been a sensation in the village and surrounding areas regarding the incident. The deceased has been described as Shyam Babu Sah (35), son of Guput Sah, resident of Gangajal Dihri village. The incident took place near the canal located in Gangajal Dihari village of Teer police station area.
He took his life by attacking with a sharp edge.
Regarding the incident, family members and villagers say that Shyam Babu Sah was a small shopkeeper and he used to sell chaat and golgappa on a cart while roaming around the village. On the other hand, after the incident, there was anger among the local villagers, after which the angry villagers blocked the main road located in Gangajal Dihri village demanding the arrest of the accused. Due to road blockage, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides and traffic came to a complete standstill.
Police cleared the jam by convincing people
On receiving information about the incident and road jam, Teer police station incharge Umakant Rai reached the spot with the police force and started trying to pacify the people. He got the jam removed and then also called the FSL team. FSL team reached the spot and collected evidence at the spot. The police took the body in their custody and sent it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Mr. Raj has formed a team and started raids to nab the criminals.

Regarding the incident, Tiyar police station chief Umakant Rai told on phone that information was received about the murder of a youth by the villagers. As soon as we received the information, we immediately reached the spot and started investigation. In the initial phase, clear information about the reason for the murder has not been received. The police station chief said that there is a possibility of murder of the young man with an iron weapon. The matter is still being investigated. He said that further action will be taken on the basis of the application of the family members.
