could not bear father’s death

A painful accident has happened in Bihar. Hearing the news of his father’s death, his son, who had come from Delhi, also died in the cremation ground. The matter is of Simri Bakhtiyarpur village of Saharsa district. The deceased have been identified as retired Panchayat servant Brahmadev Prasad Shah (75) and his elder son Sushil Kumar, residents of Purani Bazar of Municipal Council area.
Heart attack at the crematorium
Regarding the incident, villagers say that Brahmadev Prasad Shah died on Saturday. The family informed the news of father’s death to his elder son Sushil Kumar. He was posted as Section Officer in the Ministry of Labor, Government of Delhi. Hearing the news of his father’s death, he reached the village from Delhi and then shouldered his father’s coffin and reached the crematorium. After reaching there, the last rites process started, but in the meantime he suddenly became unconscious and fell on the ground. Other people present there hurriedly took him to the local sub-divisional hospital, Simri Bakhtiyarpur. The doctor gave him immediate first aid in the hospital and referred him to Saharsa for better treatment. Then the family took him to a private hospital in Saharsa where doctors declared Sushil Kumar dead.
Son’s last rites took place in Patna
The body of Brahmadev Shah was cremated by his younger son Santosh Kumar. On Sunday, Sushil Kumar’s body was cremated by his family members at Patna Ganga Ghat. The entire village is saddened by the news of the death of father and son in the same house. Deceased Section Officer Sushil Kumar has a son Aryan and a daughter Sakshi Kumari. Everyone in the village is heartbroken after this incident. There is mourning not only in the house but in the entire village.
