The wife of the railway station master in Purnia committed suicide. After the incident, the master and his two daughters are inconsolable. The family has not got the body post-mortem done. The incident took place on Thursday at Purnia railway station. The deceased has been identified as Supriya Suman, 40-year-old wife of Jitendra Mitra, station master of Purnia railway junction.

Station Master husband Jitendra Mitra said that when both the children returned home from school in the afternoon, his wife went into the room and closed the door. After some time, he heard his wife’s voice of uneasiness. When he opened the door and went inside, he found out that she had consumed poison. After this, she started vomiting. She was immediately brought to the Government Medical College Hospital for treatment, where she died during treatment.
She was mentally ill and was undergoing treatment
He told that his wife was mentally ill. She was also undergoing treatment from a psychologist. The deceased has two daughters, the elder one is a student of 10th class and the younger one is a student of 5th class. The family has not got the postmortem done. After the incident, the husband and both the daughters are inconsolable. Regarding the case, the railway police said that they have received information about the death of the station master’s wife. The station master refused to get the postmortem done and has not given any application regarding the case.
