Bihar: There was stone pelting on the Vande Bharat trial train in Bihar. The window glass of seat number 4 of the second coach adjacent to the engine broke. Fortunately, no passenger was injured. However, the railway police is investigating the matter.

The Vande Bharat trial train running from Tata to Patna was stoned in Gaya on Tuesday. In this incident, the window panes of a coach of this train were broken. However, the incident took place between Bandhua-Tankuppa station under Dhanbad Railway Division.

A railway official confirmed the incident and said that the train was coming from Tata to Gaya via Gomo (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction) on Tuesday. Meanwhile, near km number 455 between Bandhua and Tankuppa station, some miscreants started pelting stones on the train, in which the window glass of seat number 4 of the second coach adjacent to the engine broke. It was told that the coach whose window glass was broken is number 24159. After this incident, officials and jawans were sent with force from Paharpur Outpost under Koderma RPF Post of Dhanbad Railway Division to investigate the matter.

Railway police engaged in investigation

In this regard, RPF says that there has been an incident of stone pelting by unknown persons on the trial train Tata-Patna-Tata Up Vande Bharat Express train near kilometer number 455 between Bandhua Tankuppa station. It has been told that Sub Inspector Anand Alok was posted on the route protection duty from Gomo to Gaya in the Railway Protection Force post Gomo along with the staff trial Tata-Patna-Tata Up Vande Bharat Express. During the route protection, at around 11:10 am, near kilometer number 455 between Bandhua Tankuppa station, an unknown person threw a stone on the said train from the east direction. Due to which the outer glass of the window of coach MC 3-4 of the said train has broken. Investigation has been started in this case. The person who threw the stone is being searched. The accused will be arrested very soon.
