The competency test (first) for teachers is being conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board. This examination will start from 26th February and will continue till 06th March. This examination has been conducted at a total of 52 computer centers in 9 districts of Bihar. The examination will be conducted in two shifts daily. It is mandatory for teachers to reach the computer center for the first shift from 8:30 am to 09:30 am, while the examination will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. In the second shift, it will be mandatory for teachers to reach from 01:30 pm to 02:30 pm. The exam will start from 3:00 PM till 05:30 PM.
What is the exam time for disabled teacher candidates?
For disabled teacher candidates, the examination will be conducted in the first shift from 10:00 am to 01:20 pm, while in the second shift the examination will be conducted from 03:00 pm to 06:20 pm.
The examination will be clean, peaceful and malpractice free
To ensure that the examination is clean, peaceful and malpractice-free, necessary instructions have been issued by Bihar School Examination Committee Chairman Anand Kishore to the DM, SP and District Education Officer of nine districts. Static magistrates along with armed police forces have also been deputed at these computer centres.
Know after what time entry will not be allowed
Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore has also directed that teachers coming late after the scheduled time will not be allowed to enter the computer center. As per the instructions, the entry gate will be closed after the prescribed time.
Keep these items out of the examination center
According to the instructions of Anand Kishore, Chairman of Bihar School Examination Committee, attendance will be taken through biometric means at computer centres. There is a ban on any officer, employee, invigilator and candidate teachers from taking mobile phones and any kind of electronic items to these computer centres.
How will the questions be?
The questions in the competency test will be multiple choice and each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking. The examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT). 2,32,190 local body teachers of the state had filled the examination form for the Competency Test, 2024 (First).
