Supreeti Kumari, a teacher of Primary School Tenua of Gaudbaram block of Darbhanga, was drawing salary from the department without going to school and the education department remained unaware of this. This came to light when the block LJP president Rajkumar Jha, after getting information through RTI, complained about this to the department. After this, the education department took immediate action and immediately cancelled the appointment of teacher Supreeti Kumari from the concerned employment unit and also filed a auction suit and ordered the return of Rs 4 lakh 32 thousand 638 received as salary.
The teacher kept missing continuously and kept taking advantage of the government salary
Let us tell you that in the departmental investigation it was found that teacher Supriti Kumari had withdrawn Rs 4 lakh 32 thousand 638 as the benefit of government salary despite being absent from school since April 12, 2021. The said teacher was continuously absent from school since April 12, 2021, the villagers had complained about this to the principal several times, but still the teacher continued to take advantage of the government salary by being absent continuously. Tired of this, on the request of the villagers, LJP block president Rajkumar Jha gathered information about the teacher from ITI and complained about it to the department, only then the department took action.
Instructions were given to take action against the teacher
In this regard, the Block Education Officer said that this matter is from before his arrival. This matter has been investigated and the concerned Panchayat Planning Unit has been directed to take action against the accused teacher within two days.
