Three bogies of a goods train derailed at Kangwa Gumti of Darbhanga Sitamarhi railway section near Darbhanga Junction. Due to this, traffic on the road has been disrupted for about five hours. It is said that the goods train was being diverted on Wednesday midnight. During this time, three bogies of the goods train derailed at Kangwa Gumti number one. The incident created a stir in the area. The railway team reached the spot and started trying to bring all three bogies back on track.
DRM arrived to investigate
As soon as information about the incident was received, DRM of Samastipur division Vinay Srivastava also reached Darbhanga and took stock of the situation. He has said that traffic will be restored at this gate soon.
school going children troubled
Let us tell you that the goods train was being diverted near Kangwa kiosk number one of Darbhanga-Sitamarhi railway section, during which three bogies of the goods train derailed between the two railway kiosks. However, rail traffic was not affected due to the derailment of this goods train. But, the road traffic leading to Sakri along with surrounding areas of Darbhanga has been affected for about five hours. Due to this, school children and parents going to DAV School Harrow English School including Ranipur Chunabhatti have to face a lot of problems.
