There was a collision between an auto and a pickup in Rohtas, in which three people including an aunt and niece died tragically. Three others were injured in this incident. All the injured have been brought to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for treatment. The incident took place near Jakhani bridge of Nokha police station area. The deceased have been identified as Manju (46), wife of Anil Singh, resident of Penar, Nokha, Khushi Kumari, daughter of Chunnu Singh, resident of Kaithi village of Kachhwa OP, and Chhote Lal Kumar, resident of Jakhani. Khushi was the niece of Manju Devi.

Regarding the incident, the local people say that an auto was going from Sasaram to Nokha. Then a pickup van coming from the opposite direction hit it from the front. Eyewitness Rishu Singh said that after the accident, the Dial 112 police team reached the spot but after seeing the incident, the 112 police team left the spot. With the help of local people, the injured have been sent to Sadar Hospital Sasaram. On receiving the information of the incident, the relatives of the deceased reached the spot and Sasaram Sadar Hospital. The process of conducting post-mortem of the bodies of all the deceased has been started.
