Bihar: Three youths died tragically due to lightning in Bihar. Another youth got badly burnt. The people around immediately took him to the hospital where the doctors declared all three dead.

In Nawada, four people were struck by lightning, killing three on the spot, while the fourth suffered severe burn injuries. The incident took place in Ekamba village of Jogiamaran Panchayat in Rajauli police station area. The deceased have been identified as Vikram Kumar (17), son of Sikandar Rajvanshi, Monu Kumar (25), son of Sunil Rajvanshi, and Indradev Rajvanshi (50), son of Kaman Rajvanshi. The injured youth has been identified as Suraj Kumar, son of Pramod Rajvanshi. All these people are said to be from Ekamba village in Rajauli police station area.

Took the help of a tree to avoid rain

Regarding the incident, the villagers said that all these people were working in the fields in the village’s wasteland. Suddenly it started raining. To avoid the rain, all these people hid under a nearby Mahua tree. Then suddenly lightning struck along with heavy rain and Vikram Kumar, Monu Kumar and Indradev Rajvanshi died on the spot. After three deaths together, there is a mourning silence in the entire village. The relatives of the deceased are crying inconsolably. After the incident, the police have sent the body to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Rajauli Circle Officer Gufran Majhari said that compensation will be given to the families of all the deceased under disaster management. After Suraj Kumar was treated at Rajauli Sub-Divisional Hospital, he has been referred to Nawada for better treatment.
