Local people rushed them to the hospital, where their condition remains critical. The incident took place on the bypass of Gardanibagh police station area. The deceased has been identified as Kajal Kumari (26), wife of Mukesh Kumar, resident of Anisabad Manikchand Talab. Local people told that after the incident, the driver started running away with the truck. But by then a crowd had gathered there and people chased and caught the driver and then beat him badly. By then the local people informed the Gardanibagh police station about the incident. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The crowd handed over the accused truck driver to the police.

Regarding the incident, local people told that Mukesh Kumar along with his wife Kajal Kumari were going to their relative’s house in Sipara to deliver the Prasad of Deoghar. Then a truck coming at high speed crushed them. In this accident, Kajal Kumari died on the spot while her husband Mukesh Kumar was badly injured. The people around immediately admitted the injured Mukesh Kumar to a nearby nursing home, where his condition remains critical. As soon as the information of the incident was received, people from the nearby area reached the spot and the angry people completely blocked the Patna bypass road. Local people told that the speed of trucks on this route is very high, due to which small and big accidents keep happening every day. Local people said that the police administration was told many times to curb the speed of vehicles, but everything was in vain.
