Aurangabad district is once again reeling under the heat. Two people died on Saturday due to the scorching sun and heat wave. The deceased include Suresh Yadav (50), a resident of Pakha village in Aurangabad Mufassil police station area and Sahendra Yadav (45), a resident of Udyam Bigha village in Salaiya police station area of Madanpur block. The family members of both the deceased have suspected that they died due to heat wave.
Suresh Yadav fell unconscious in the field
During the postmortem at Aurangabad Sadar Hospital, Suresh Yadav’s family members told that he used to work as a labourer in the village. After having lunch in the afternoon, Suresh Yadav went to the field for some work, where he fell unconscious due to the scorching sun and intense heat. When he did not return home for a long time, the family started worrying. Meanwhile, some people working on the field informed the family about Suresh Yadav’s unconsciousness. On receiving the information, the family reached the field and immediately brought Suresh Yadav to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead after checking his pulse. After the death, the family started crying loudly. On hearing the news of the incident, District Councilor Anil Yadav reached Sadar Hospital and pacified the crying family by explaining to them.
Sahendra fell unconscious while selling samosas
On the other hand, Sahendra Yadav used to make samosas at his home and sell them in the surrounding rural areas. On Saturday, he went to the village to sell samosas, where he fainted due to the scorching sun. His family brought him to the Community Health Center Madanpur for treatment, where the doctors referred him to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead after checking his pulse.

The Aurangabad city police station was informed about the incident. The police reached the spot, took both the bodies in their custody, completed the postmortem process and handed over the bodies to the family members. Meanwhile, Zila Parishad member Anil Yadav said that the families of both the deceased are very poor. He has demanded compensation from the district administration under disaster relief.
