In Patna, NDA’s ally leader and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi discussed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi a lot. He said that Hindustani Awam Morcha has organized a felicitation ceremony on the occasion of him becoming a Union Minister. This is not an honour for Jitan Ram Manjhi, but it is an honour for all the colleagues of Hindustani Awam Morcha of Bihar. He said that in today’s politics, if a person becomes an MLA or a minister once, twice, thrice, four times or five times, then he is a man of crores. After that no one says that he does not have money. After this he has his own business, bus, truck, and what not, he even has a gas agency.
A jibe at Nitish Kumar
Taking the name of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that but we want to thank Nitish Kumar ji, when we separated in 2015 and formed a party, he said that will Jitan Manjhi run the party? He has neither money nor a penny, how will he run the party? And today we say with pride that along with the Principal Secretary, our national leader also said that today our party is not just walking, but running. And you people have a hand in handling this race, so you people should be congratulated. I congratulate all of you.
Both were discussed, but one for CM and one for PM
Jitan Ram Manjhi, while addressing his workers, said that it is your kindness, I became MLC for 6 years and 2024 has passed. I was thinking what will happen, don’t know. The situation has come such that now I have become MLC till 2030. That’s why I want to congratulate you people. And he (Nitish Kumar) should also be congratulated. Jitan Ram Manjhi then referring to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that Nitish Kumar had said that Manjhi ji, you should merge your party with our party, merge it. After this we called all our people and took their opinion. Everyone said – no, this should not happen. Then Nitish Kumar ji said that then it is okay, you should go out of our alliance. Then we came out of the alliance. Now we are with NDA. We thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and the brothers of NDA, who not only made me MLC but also Santosh, who was earlier the owner of one department but today he is sitting as the owner of three departments.
There is jealousy in his heart, while the PM gave me my dream department
Further Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he is jealous that Jitan Ram Manjhi is alone but still Narendra Modi kept him in the cabinet.
