A single Hindu family living in Muria village of Bhalpatti OP police station area of Darbhanga district is being harassed by people from other parties for many years. Fed up, Vicky Kumar, son of victim Rajdhan Devi, has appealed to Darbhanga DM Rajeev Roshan for justice. Taking cognizance of this matter, DM has ordered immediate action. He has said that after investigation he has assured the victim of justice. Let us tell you that Rajdhan Devi has been living in her ancestral house in Muria village of Sadar block for years.
Villagers create ruckus even after entering the house
Victim Vicky said that the entire area belongs to a particular group of people. There is only one Hindu family in the entire village, hence the other party not only continuously harasses him and his family in various ways but also enters the house every day and creates ruckus. So that we leave our homes and land and run away from the village, all the people are keeping an eye on their land and want to capture it. They are threatened. They say that if you want to live in the village, you will have to accept their religion.
They don’t even let us celebrate Hindu festivals.
Vicky said that not only this, they ask people to raise their religious slogans. Not only this, they are not even allowed to celebrate Hindu festivals. Apart from this, they keep objectionable items in polythene and throw them inside my house. No one is ready to buy the land. They are just being harassed so that somehow these people run away from here. For the last two years, his entire family is being harassed in different ways. Doesn’t even let you surround the wall of the house. From the police station to the senior officers of the district, DM and SSP, I met several times with my complaint and complained many times. Officials also came and all told that the land at your place is fine. But, justice was not received from anywhere. An FIR was lodged in the police station on the orders of the District Magistrate in the whole matter. But, the police station asked me for money. Due to non-payment of money, the police officer removed the name of the main accused from supervision and again the same situation persists.
DM assured to provide justice
Met the present District Magistrate several times and complained. Officials also went from here but despite this no result was achieved, today again I met District Magistrate Rajeev Roshan and lodged my complaint. DM has once again assured to take action and provide justice.
