DGP will remain even after two years

As per the notification, Vinay Kumar has been made DGP of Bihar for the next two years. But as per the order of the Supreme Court, he will continue on the post of DGP even after two years. Bihar government has posted one more DG level officer. Jitendra Singh Gangwar has been made DG of surveillance. He has also been given the additional charge of DG Civil Defence. Jintendra Singh used to be ADG Headquarters at Gangwar Police Headquarters. After his promotion, Kundan Krishnanan was posted to that post.
