In the case of the murder of Jitan Sahni, father of former minister and Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahni, in Ghanshyampur police station area of Darbhanga, the police clearly believed that the murder was committed because he resisted theft. But now a new angle has emerged. Four people have been detained. These four were seen entering Jitan Sahni’s house from a distance in CCTV footage. Two of them had taken money from Jitan Sahni on interest and one of them had a bike mortgaged with them.
Four people were seen entering the house at night
It is said that a dispute was going on since two days regarding the transaction of money on interest. When the dispute increased, Jeetan Sahni kept the bike of a youth who was taken into custody. He had told him that he would take the bike when he brought the money. In the footage obtained from the CCTV installed near Jeetan Sahni’s house on Sunday night, it was seen that four people entered the house between 10.30 and 11:00 pm and came out after staying inside for some time. These four people have been taken into custody and are being questioned.
Two people had borrowed money from Jeetan Sahni
Information is being collected about the mobile details of the four detained persons and their past history and transactions with Jeetan Sahni. Along with questioning these people on points like the reason for going to the house of the deceased late at night etc., information about these people is also being collected from other people. In the police investigation so far, it has been found that two of these people had borrowed money from Jeetan Sahni on interest. One of these suspects had also kept his motorcycle with Jeetan Sahni as security for the loan. These people had gone at night to talk about getting it released. Jeetan Sahni had also had an altercation with two of these people two days back. It was after this that the two suspects had threatened to teach him a lesson.
