On the day of Diwali, everything was normal and nothing happened till late night. But when the dead body of a woman was found hanging early in the morning, all the people of the village including her family were shocked. The incident is being reported from Madar village of Parsa police station area of the local district. Where due to a minor dispute between husband and wife, a woman ended her life by hanging herself.
Late Thursday evening, all the family members celebrated the festival of Diwali together. But early Friday morning the dead body was found hanging from the noose. The deceased woman has been identified as Munni Devi, 35, wife of Sandeep Singh of the said village. The news of suicide by hanging spread like wildfire in the area. At the same time, a crowd of villagers gathered on the news of the death. The deceased woman is said to be the mother of two children.
On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the local police station and took information about the matter. After that the body was taken into possession and brought to the Community Health Centre. Where the doctors declared him dead. Regarding the incident, Kalavati Devi, mother-in-law of the deceased woman, said that there was a rift between Patoh and her son for several days. On the night of Diwali, after lighting the lamp, husband and wife went to sleep in separate rooms. But when the husband woke up in the morning, he saw that the wife had committed suicide by hanging herself with her saree.
The body was hurriedly taken down from the gallows and kept in the house. After that, information about the incident was given to other family members including father Gopal Singh, resident of Manupur village under Doriganj police station area of Saran district and the local Parsa police station was informed. On receiving the information, the police arrived and took the body into their custody and sent it to Chapra for postmortem.
At the same time, the police is engaged in legal action. However, the mother-in-law of the deceased woman told that even before this, Patoh had tried to commit suicide by jumping into the well. According to family members, there was a serious illness in the throat and neck, due to which it is being said that he committed suicide due to fed up.
