In Siwan, criminals shot an old woman to death. Lal Muni Devi, 60-year-old wife of Ram Kishan Baitha, a resident of Rangoli village of Daraunda police station area, lived with her granddaughter. The rest of the family members live in Delhi. Last night, like every day, both grandmother and granddaughter went to sleep in their respective rooms after having dinner. On Monday morning around 8:00 am, the granddaughter got up and went to the room and saw that the body of the grandmother was lying soaked in blood. She was stunned to see this and started shouting. After this, when the people around reached, the old woman was somehow brought to the hospital. The doctors declared her dead.

After the incident, there was a stir in the area. A crowd of people gathered around. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating. The Darunda police station in-charge reached the spot with his team. The police took the statement of the family members. The FSL team has been called. The police say that the murder is being reported due to land dispute. Some people are being questioned. Further action is going on in the case. The criminals will be arrested soon.
Neighbour accused of murder
Criminals entered the house of an old woman living in Darunda police station area and shot her dead. The granddaughter of the deceased Lal Muni Devi said that she lives in the house with her grandmother. They have an old land dispute with their neighbours. Due to this, their neighbours repeatedly threatened to kill them. On Sunday night, after having dinner, we went to sleep, then the neighbours took the opportunity and shot my grandmother dead. We appeal to the police to arrest the murderer as soon as possible.
