Amidst the riots going on in Kyrgyzstan, many Indian workers are stranded there and are requesting the government to return to their country. These laborers also include a youth from Bhawanipur Dakshin Panchayat of Pratapganj block under Supaul district of Bihar. In fact, Mo Israel (21), son of Mo Rabban, resident of Ward 1 of Bhawanipur South Panchayat, had gone to Kyrgyzstan only 10 months ago for labour, where he used to work as a tailor in a garment factory. Mohammad Israel said that there is an atmosphere of tension in Kyrgyzstan since May 13. Although his work continued in the meanwhile, the situation suddenly worsened on May 18. After this, the company people shifted about two dozen laborers including Mohammad Israel to a room. Arrangements for food and water have also been made in the room provided by the company. But the problem is that the people of the company are also giving up in case of prolonged stress. After this, late on Monday night, Israel contacted the family members including local ward member Sadiq Ansari and Pansa’s husband Sushil Nang alias Baua Nang.

Not getting help from Indian High Commission

Mohammad Israel has released a video message, in which more than two dozen laborers are seen in the same room. In the video, Mohammad Israel is claiming that after the situation worsened, the workers present in the room also contacted the Indian High Commission in Kyrgyzstan. However, the workers did not get any help from there also. Even the officials of the High Commission asked the workers whether they had come here after asking the High Commission? However, there is disappointment among the workers due to not getting help from the High Commission. He says that the laborers present in the room include Israel of Supaul, MD Mohammad of Chhapra district, Brijesh of Mau in Uttar Pradesh, Sunil of Darbhanga district, Arif of Motihari district, Irfan of Purnia district, Baidehi of Sitamarhi district and Shiv Pujan, Kishanganj. Maqsood and Ansar of the district and others are included. An injured laborer is also seen in the video.

Local people are beating the workers

Workers from Bihar stranded in Kyrgyzstan are pleading to return to their homeland. The workers allege that in the last few days, due to some reason, the local people in Kyrgyzstan have started deadly attacks on Pakistani, Egyptian and Indian people, in which some workers present in the room have also been injured. Due to the stressful situation, it is not possible to provide proper treatment to the workers. It is also alleged that the local people of Kyrgyzstan are threatening to kill the workers.

Mohammad Israel is the first person from the family to go abroad

21-year-old Mohammed Israel, stranded in Kyrgyzstan, is the first person from his family to go abroad. His father Mo Rabban works as a mason in the village itself. Mohammed Israel is the eldest among five siblings. His younger brother Mo Jibril works as a laborer in Jaipur, while the other two sisters and a brother are studying. After receiving the news of Israel being stranded abroad, his mother Sabila Khatoon and other family members started worrying about him. The family is appealing to the government to take initiative for his return to his country.
