In Turki village of Baheri police station area of Darbhanga, two thieves who entered Gopal Lal Dev’s house to steal were caught by the family members and both were beaten up badly, due to which both were seriously injured. Seeing the serious condition of both, all the accused who beat them ran away. On getting the information, the family members of the victim admitted them to PHC for treatment, from where they were sent to DMCH for better treatment. Where one thief died during treatment. The other minor thief is undergoing treatment.
The accused brutally beat both of them
It is said that on the charge of mobile theft, a youth and a minor were brutally beaten by the accused with sticks, rods and iron rods. When the condition of both became serious, the people ran away leaving the accused behind. It is said that the family members admitted both of them to DMCH for treatment. Late Friday evening, Ghanshyam Laldev’s son Gopal Laldev (22), a resident of Turki, died. His 15-year-old companion is undergoing treatment in critical condition.

People say that Pappu Sada’s mobile phone from Turki village was stolen. After a day-long search, Pappu Sada, along with his other relatives, caught the deceased Gopal Laldev and Puneet Laldev in the village garden in the evening. After this, both of them were beaten up badly. Baheri SHO Varun Kumar Goswami said that the investigation of the assault incident is being done. The youths involved in the incident, Pradeep Sada, Pappu Sada, Rajkumar Sada alias Chotkin Sada, along with the wives of all three have also been taken into custody. All are being questioned. The post-mortem of the body will be done on Saturday and the body will be handed over to the family.
