In Arrah, Bihar, a young man working with a property dealer who had been missing for three days was brutally murdered. Now his body has been recovered from the Ganga river. The incident took place at Kateya Ganga Ghat of Krishnagarh OP. Police sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Shankar Singh, son of late Ras Bihari Singh, resident of Jhaua village of Bihian police station area.

Regarding the incident, the deceased’s uncle Nirmal Singh says that Ravi Shankar had gone to Barja Bazaar near the village to buy sand on the evening of 10th May, from where he went missing. Next day on the morning of 11th May, the family members lodged a complaint in the police station. Filed a missing report. After the case was registered, the police started searching for Ravi Shankar. But even after this nothing could be found about him. Meanwhile, a call was made from Bihian police station and informed that a dead body has been found, you should take a look. Went to the spot with the police and when the body was taken out, the body was identified as that of Ravi Shankar Singh.
Family members accused the property dealer
Villagers say that the young man was murdered in a very brutal manner. One of his hands has been cut off. There are marks of wounds caused by brutal beating all over the body. Regarding the incident of Chacha Nirmal Singh murder, it was told that Ravi Shankar used to work with a property dealer named Sumit Singh of Patna. Sumit Srivastava was involved in the purchase and sale of land in Patna and Bihta areas. Ravi had also given advance money to Sumit Srivastava to buy land for many people around his village, but Sumit Singh used to give the land on which he had raised the money to someone else. After this, people of the village and surrounding areas used to demand money from Ravi and Ravi used to demand money from his boss Sumit Srivastava. Expressing apprehension, Nirmal Singh said that it is possible that Mitt and his associates together murdered Ravi and threw the body.

Regarding the incident, SI Vijay Kumar Singh of Bihiya police station said that a missing report was lodged by the family members. We were still searching, meanwhile the dead body was found today. He was beaten to death. The cause is being ascertained and further research is underway.
