A young man has been murdered in Patna. The criminals chased him and shot him. He died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. The incident took place in the Chaudhari Tola lane of Raja Bazar, which is considered a posh area of Patna. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of sensation in the entire area. Police reached the spot after getting the information, took the body in their custody and sent it to PMCH for postmortem. Police is examining the CCTV footage. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, 40 years old, resident of Chaudhari Tola.
The first bullet did not hit him, then he started running to save his life
The police have also recovered a bullet stuck in a wall from the spot. Confirming the incident, Airport Police Station in-charge Vinod Peter said that information is being taken from his family members. It is being told that Rakesh Kumar was originally a resident of Sitamarhi and worked as an electrician while living on rent in Choudhary Tola, Patna. He was returning home from work late on Wednesday night. In this sequence, the criminals who were lying in wait fired a bullet at him which missed. After this, he started running to save himself. Meanwhile, the criminals chased Rakesh Kumar for a long distance and shot him. He fell on the ground as soon as he was shot.
Police conducting raids in search of criminals
Here, the criminals fled from there after the incident. The local people informed the Airport police station about this. Rakesh Kumar was admitted to a hospital at night but he died during treatment. Airport police station in-charge Vinod Peter said that the CCTV cameras around the incident spot are also being scanned. The police is investigating all the aspects in depth. Raids are going on in search of the criminals.
