A JDU leader was bitten by a poisonous snake while drinking tea at home in Aurangabad. As soon as the family came to know about this, they rushed the JDU leader to the hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Singh (61), son of late Yamuna Singh, resident of Hathiyara village. The deceased was the district vice president of JDU. The incident took place in Hathiyara village of Goh block.

Regarding the incident, the family members told that Vijay Singh was drinking tea in his house on Thursday. As soon as he picked up the soil to wash the cup after drinking tea, a snake came out from a nearby hole and bit him in the middle finger of his right hand. As soon as the snake bit him, he informed his family members about it. The family members immediately took him to Sadar Hospital in Arwal district, where he died during treatment. The family members are crying a lot. The police have handed over Vijay Singh’s body to the family after conducting the post-mortem. The whole house was shaken by the cries of the family members. The atmosphere of the house has become gloomy. People from the nearby area reached their house to console them. The deceased’s wife Kiran Devi, son Chandra Prakash and Ravi Prakash kept crying while hugging their father’s body.
