A 7-month-old girl who was playing in the courtyard of the house in Munger suddenly got shot in the head. In a hurry, the family took her to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the girl died during treatment. The case pertains to Ganga Par Tikarampur Budhan Marre Tola of Mufassil police station area.

Regarding the incident, Nishu’s uncle Veer Kunwar Yadav says that Nishu is the daughter of his younger brother Khazanchi Yadav. He further told that Nishu was playing with his 12-year-old aunt Julie Kumari in the courtyard. Then suddenly a bullet was fired which hit Nishu in the head and came out. As soon as the bullet rang out, the relatives rushed there and saw that Nishu was shot and was covered in blood. In a hurry, they took the blood-soaked Nishu to Khagaria Hospital where the doctors referred him to Patna seeing his critical condition. Nishu died on the way to Patna in an ambulance.

On the other hand, some villagers also say that the farmers of Diyara keep weapons at home to guard their crops, to protect their fields or for their own safety. Similarly, a loaded weapon was also kept in her house with which the girl was playing. Meanwhile, by mistake, a bullet fired suddenly, due to which Nishu died.

In relation to the incident, Mufassil Police Station President Daljit Jha says that information about the incident has been received. They say that the farmers here keep weapons at home, with which they go to the fields. After returning from the farm, the weapon must have been kept like this. While playing, the pistol hit the girl’s hand and the bullet went off. The station chief told that there is no man in the house yet, the rest of the women of the house are refraining from telling anything. At present, the police is investigating the entire matter.
