A young man supplying ballast and sand in Patna’s Dariyapur died under suspicious circumstances. The body of the youth was recovered by the police from behind a newly constructed building in Dariyapur village of Parsa Bazar police station. The wife of the deceased has accused the builder of killing her by throwing her from the roof. The deceased was Ranjit Kumar (35), resident of Parsa Bazar.
50 lakhs had gone to collect the dues
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s wife Neelu Kumari has alleged that construction work of a building by Vinay Kumar Singh builder is going on in Dariyapur village of Parsa Bazar police station area. She told that her husband Ranjit Kumar used to supply many items including ballast, sand to her in building construction. On Monday morning, Ranjit Kumar had left his house telling his wife that the time of Holi was about to come. His Rs 50 lakh is left with builder Vinay Singh. He is going to demand his outstanding money from Vinay Singh. After this Ranjit Kumar did not return home the whole day. On Monday night, she got information that her husband had died after falling from the building. She alleged that her husband did not die by falling from the building but was murdered by the builder by throwing him down from the roof of the building.
Wife accused of throwing him from the roof
Ranjit Kumar’s wife Neelu Kumari filed a case against builder Vinay Singh at Parsa Bazar police station for murdering her husband by throwing him from the building when he demanded the outstanding money. Parsa Bazar police station incharge Maneka Rani says that after the incident, the SFL team was called to the spot. He told that on the basis of written application of his wife, builder Vinay Singh has been taken into custody by the police.
