The kidnapped person, Sunil Kumar, is a resident of Dumri village of Atri police station area of ​​Gaya district, who used to live and work in Hazaribagh. He told that a total of eight people have been named in this case, the police is searching for the remaining seven people. Police say that the arrested kidnapper is a resident of Jharkhand.

Regarding the incident, Gaya City SP Prerna Kumar said that today a person met the Senior Superintendent of Police and complained that his brother was kidnapped and Rs 4 lakh was demanded as ransom. Taking immediate cognizance, the Superintendent of Police directed Rampur police station and recovered the kidnapped youth safely.
