Abhay Kushwaha said that workers do not get respect in the party. I applied more than ten times to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, but the meeting did not take place. In such a situation, it was not appropriate to stay in the party. Kushwaha said that he is going back to the same place from where he started politics. He said that he will join RJD soon. At the same time, on the question of contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Aurangabad seat on RJD ticket, he said that if the Grand Alliance makes us contest the elections from Aurangabad seat, then we will definitely contest.

Tikari former MLA cum JDU District President Abhay Kushwaha had joined JDU by resigning from the post of District President of RJD’s youth cell in a meeting of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held in Belaganj assembly constituency in 2010. In 2015, he contested elections from Grand Alliance seat from Tikari assembly constituency on JDU ticket, in which he won. After that, he contested elections again in 2020 on JDU ticket from Belaganj assembly constituency, in which he had to face a crushing defeat from RJD candidate Dr. Surendra Prasad. However, the political journey of former MLA Abhay Kushwaha started in 2000. In 2000, he contested elections as an independent candidate from Gaya city assembly constituency. After that, in 2005, he was elected head from Kujapi Panchayat. At that time he was a youth leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal.
