Under this scheme, women in Bihar will be given ₹4000 every month as financial help. This scheme has been brought especially for those women whose husband has died or those women who are divorced.

The Bihar government will transfer financial assistance of ₹4000 every month to the accounts of these women. Along with this, the benefit of this scheme of the Bihar government will also be given to those children who do not have parents. Those children will also be given 4000 rupees every month.

The aim of the social security scheme is to improve the financial condition of women and children and to provide them assistance. To apply for this scheme, women will have to go to the office of the child protection unit and apply. After this, the concerned officials will visit the house and ensure whether the applicant is eligible for the benefits of the scheme or not. After this, when the officials verify it, then the amount of the scheme will be sent to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

For the scheme, the annual income of women in urban areas should be less than 95 thousand rupees. Whereas in rural areas it should be less than 72000. Along with this, women will also have to submit some documents to avail the benefits of this scheme. Which will also include death certificate and divorce certificate.
