After the murder of a laborer in Tamil Nadu, the people of Bihar living there are in fear. This can be gauged from the fact that laborers are getting down at Jamui station continuously for two-three days. The workers say that the Tamils ââare angry with those who speak Hindi. There was also information about fighting with some fellow laborers. Rumors have done the work of spoiling the atmosphere.

The heart trembles remembering the dreadful moment
The brother of deceased Pawan Yadav, a resident of Dhadhor village, said that even today the heart is shaken by remembering that dreadful moment. I was in the room when the murder took place. Pawan was cleaning the clothes. Suddenly a man entered the room with a sword and without saying anything he started attacking Pawan. When I came to the room after hearing the commotion, I knew that he was lying in a pool of blood. Rushed him to the hospital, but the doctor declared him brought dead. After this, appealed to the police for justice. Although, the police arrested the murderer within 24 hours, but the reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.
On the other hand, Tulsi Kumar, brother of the deceased Monu Kumar, a resident of Sikandra Bazar, told that the door of the room was locked from inside when Monuâs body was found hanging. Tulsi said that it was only four months since Monu came to Tamil Nadu and he had no dealings with anyone here. The people there called it suicide. However, we think it is a case of murder.
Tamils ââused to demand double wages, so work was not available
Ajit Kumar Ram, son of Maleshwar Ram, a resident of Vasavutti village of Sikandra block area, who came from Tamil Nadu, said that there is panic among Bihari laborers due to the video going viral. Many laborers want to return to Bihar. Ajit has been living in Mandrey area of ââTirpur in Tamil Nadu for the last eight years. He worked in an iron company. He used to get wages at the rate of Rs.650 per day. The Tamils ââused to demand double the wages for the same work. Thatâs why they are not hired in the company. Gradually the anger of the Tamil workers increased. He started arguing with Hindi speakers. He said that you people should return home from here. Meanwhile, the laborer was killed by entering the house simultaneously. We got very scared. A few days later, a video also went viral, then rumors also vitiated the atmosphere. The family members started putting pressure. Thatâs why he came back. About a dozen laborers have returned home from Tamil Nadu in Dhadhor village.
Among the migrant laborers, including Vipin Paswan, Vikku Paswan, Nitish Kumar, Prakash Paswan told that they have returned to their homes only after seeing the viral video. However, it was later learned that the video had nothing to do with the thrashing of the workers.
