The Bihar government is talking about banning child marriage and protecting the girl child. And in Bettiah, a 13-year-old girl was abducted at gunpoint with the intention of getting married. The incident is of a village under Shikarpur police station area. A young man from the girl’s village, with the help of two friends, abducted her at gunpoint. In the case, the girl’s father has filed an application in the Shikarpur police station and lodged an FIR. The relatives are pleading with the police to recover the girl.

The girl’s father told that his daughter was filling water at the handpump next to the house. Meanwhile, Brijesh Kumar (20) of his own village, with the help of his friends Vikram Kumar (18) and Saifullah Miyan (22), kidnapped his daughter with the intention of marrying her on the force of arms. He has been taken to some unknown place and hidden. He told that on going to Brijesh’s house to inquire in this regard, his family members are abusing and threatening to kill him.
Raids are going on in search of the accused
In this regard, Shikarpur SHO Ramashray Yadav said that further action is being taken by registering an FIR on the application of the father of the abducted minor girl. Soon the kidnapped girl will be recovered. Raids are going on in search of the accused. The guilty will not be spared at any cost.
