There are chances of heat wave in some districts of western and south-central parts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in these areas. Buxar remained the hottest district in the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 42.3 degrees Celsius. Whereas the temperature in Sheikhpura, Vaishali, Bhojpur, Nawada and Arwal districts remained above 41 degrees. Here, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in 12 districts of Bihar from May 6 to 11. An increase in rainfall activity and strong winds along with thunder are expected in these areas.
Common people will get relief from heat wave
The Meteorological Department appealed and said that farmers should store their harvested crops at safe places. Apart from this, the general public has also been told to remain alert and cautious. The Meteorological Department believes that the common people will get relief from the heat wave from May 6 to 11. Apart from this, storms can cause damage to fruit trees. People living in slums or kutcha houses also need to be alert.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain at one or two places in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger, Khagaria. Whereas West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Shivhar, Samastipur, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai. The weather will remain dry in the districts of Lakhisarai and Jehanabad. The wind speed in these districts is expected to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Patna 40.0, Gaya 40.5, Dehri 40.2, Sheikhpura 42.1, Gopalganj 40.3, Buxar 42.3, Bhojpur 41.3, Vaishali 41.7, Aurangabad 409, Banka 40.1, Nawada 41.1, Arwal 41.1, Rohtas 40.9 degrees Celsius were recorded. If we talk about Patna, during the last 24 hours the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.7 degrees Celsius in Patna, 41.5 in East Patna, 41.4 in West Patna while 42.4 degrees Celsius was recorded around Mahila College.
