The cool winds have provided relief from the scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many areas of Bihar including Patna. According to the Meteorological Department, the next two in Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Jamui, Bhagalpur, Banka, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Patna, Jehanabad, Arwal, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, and Aurangabad. There are chances of light to moderate thunder and lightning for three hours. During this period, the wind speed is expected to be 30 to 40 km per hour.
Orange alert issued in these three districts
Orange alert has been issued in Patna, Nawada, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Lakhisarai, Jamui, Banka, Purnia, Katihar. Moderate thunder and lightning are expected in these districts for the next two to three hours. During this period, the wind speed is expected to be 40 to 50 km per hour.
Meteorological Department said- be careful
There is forecast of light rain along with thunder, lightning and strong wind at some places across Bihar. Now is the time to be alert. The clouds formed at this time remain warm on one side and then suddenly start forming clouds. The clouds formed are very dense and small in size. The area through which there is severe thunder and strong wind causes rain. Be cautious of this kind of weather. If you are outside, go inside the house. Avoid standing under trees.
