The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast on Wednesday that there will be light to moderate rainfall at some places in South Central and South East. Whereas, light to moderate rainfall is expected at many places in North West, North Central, North East and South West Bihar.

The weather remained dry during the last 24 hours. The entire Bihar was in the throes of extreme heat. Due to the influence of eastern wind, there has been a decline in the maximum temperature. The cyclonic circulation which had formed over the north-eastern part of Bihar on Tuesday has weakened today. For the last two days, moist air from the Bay of Bengal was slowly coming towards Bihar.
