People of Bihar are not going to get relief from the heat. On Monday, heat wave alert has been issued in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad as well as Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal in the south-west and Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Khagaria districts in the south-east. The temperature of these districts is expected to be 42 to 44 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for this.

According to the weather department, hot winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are going to blow in the areas of Banka, South West, South Central parts of the state. Apart from this, hot nights are expected in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda districts of the South West of the state. During the last 24 hours, the temperature in 21 districts remained between 40 to 46 degrees. 43.5 in Patna, 44.5 in Gaya, 40.6 in Bhagalpur, 42.01 in Chhapra, 43.9 in Dehri, 45.02 in Sheikhpura, 41.3 in Gopalganj, 43.02 in Jamui, 46.01 in Buxar, 45.4 in Bhojpur, 40.4 in Samastipur, 44.5 in Vaishali, 44.8 in Aurangabad, 46.01 in Begusarai, 44.01 in Banka, 44.3 in Nawada, 43.2 in Rajgir, 41.3 in Jiradei, 44.8 in Arwal, 44.5 in Bikramganj and 43.8 degrees Celsius in Munger. The highest maximum temperature was 46.01 in Buxar while the lowest temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius in Motihari.

Patna, Gaya, Gopalganj, Jamui, Nalanda and Siwan were affected by heat wave and Sheikhpura, Buxar, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Aurangabad, Banka, Nawada and Arwal were affected by very hot wave. According to the data received from Gaya Meteorological Observatory, the speed of western wind was around 36 to 38 kilometers per hour. Today is the ninth day of the southwest monsoon season, but even today the northern boundary of the monsoon has stopped at Islampur in sub-Himalayan West Bengal. The flow of northwest wind continues in the southern parts of Bihar at the surface. According to the numerical model received today, it is forecast to continue for the next 48 hours. Due to this wind, the weather will be pleasant only in the morning. If the sky remains clear at night, then the heat of the previous day will return overnight. Due to which the morning will feel good and after that as the day progresses, due to the sky being clear, the sun will descend with full light. The temperature will increase due to the arrival of bright light.

Temperature in Kishanganj is 31.02 degrees

Particularly the intense heat will affect the south-western part, Vaishali, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Jamui and Banka. All should take precautions to avoid this heat. Generally, on the basis of the continuous arrival of monsoon and its activity for the last several years, the average time frame of arrival of monsoon in Bihar is fixed as 10 to 15 June. Temperatures below 40 degrees were recorded in many districts of Bihar. 35.02 in Purnia, 38.4 in Valmiki Nagar, 38.4 in Muzaffarpur, 38.02 in Darbhanga, 36.01 in Supaul, 34.4 in Forbesganj, 36.02 in Madhubani, 39.8 in Motihari, 36.01 in Katihar, 33.1 in Araria, 39.02 in Pusa and 31.02 degrees Celsius were recorded in Kishanganj.
