Eight days of the month of Sawan have passed but the weather has not become pleasant yet. Farmers are worried due to less than average rainfall. There is disappointment on the faces of the farmers. The fields where green crops were seen growing are now dry. Cracks have started appearing in the fields. The farmers had planted their paddy seeds with great hope. Not only this, the humid heat has also made the condition of the people miserable. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be no rain for the next four days.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in some parts of East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Araria, Purnia, Kishanganj districts of North Bihar. Light to moderate rain may occur in these areas. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in these areas. Apart from this, there is no possibility of rain in any other district of Bihar.

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded with thunderstorms at some places in the north-east and south regions of the state. While light rain was recorded at one or two places in the north-west and north-central. Due to its effect, light to moderate rainfall with thundershowers is likely in some places of North Central, North East, South Central, South East of the state during the next 24 hours. There is no possibility of any significant change in the day temperature for the next 48 hours.
