There was a head-on collision between a car and a bike in Madhepura. In this accident, a woman died on the spot. While 4 people including a one and a half year old innocent girl were seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. The incident took place around 10 pm on NH-106 near Kamargama check post under Sinheshwar police station area.

The car rider fled after the incident

Local people told that the bike rider, Dilip Sharma, resident of Taraiya Ward 6, was returning to his village Taraiya after showing his wife Anita Devi and one and a half year old girl a fair from Sirsia. Meanwhile, near Kamargama check post, an uncontrolled car coming from Shyamnagar side hit him hard. In this accident, woman Anita Devi (25) died at the spot. While husband Dilip Sharma, her daughter Priya Kumari were seriously injured. Both have been taken to Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Medical College Hospital for treatment. After the incident, the people in the car fled from the spot.

People blocked the road in protest

On the other hand, people angry over the incident blocked Veerpur-Udakishunganj NH-106 in Kamargama. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Sinheshwar police station reached the spot and convinced the people and got the jam ended. Sinheshwar police station incharge Birendra Ram said that a woman has died in a collision between a car and a bike. While 4 people have been injured. All the injured are undergoing treatment. The car and bike have been confiscated.
