Kachoris and laddoos are also served here along with hot Jalebi. People come to the shop from 8 am to 10 pm to buy Jalebi. At the same time, a female customer who came to buy Jalebi told that she has been eating here ever since she came to her in-laws house i.e. Kishanganj after getting married. Sometimes there is a line of customers outside the shop for Jalebi. Its taste is so good that if they come from somewhere, they first reach this shop to eat Jalebi, the people of the city definitely taste Maharaj ji’s Jalebi to their relatives who come to their home. At the same time, they also send laddus to their relatives far and wide.

Taste has not changed even in 40 years

The taste of Jalebi from Maharaj ji’s shop is excellent. Fresh Jalebi is made here all the time. The taste of Jalebi which was there 40 years ago, is still available today. On the other hand, if we talk about the rate of Jalebi, then Rs.160 per kg is available. 8 rupees kachoris, along with the rest of the kachoris, Jalebi is available for breakfast at Rs 3 per piece. Omprakash, who works here, told that he has been working in Maharaj ji’s shop for almost 25 years. There is a huge crowd of people to eat Jalebi here. Even more people reach here on the occasion of Independence Day. There seems to be less space to stand.

Consumption of 10-15 kg flour per day

Shopkeeper Rajendra Prasad told that the shop was started by father Maharaj about 50 years ago. Now he is not in this world. The people of the city affectionately named our shop as Maharaj Ji’s Jalebi. The taste of Maharaj ji’s time is still intact. 10-15 kg of flour is consumed daily. People are enjoying Jalebi after reaching here.
