The state’s first transgender restaurant has been opened in Bihar’s capital Patna. People will be able to taste delicious dishes in this unique restaurant. Reshma Prasad, secretary of Dostana Safar and trans community activist, told News18 Local that some restaurants and cafes are being run by the transgender community in some parts of the country. The Satrangi restaurant opened by him is the first such restaurant in the state. With the opening of the Satrangi Dostana restaurant, people from the trans community will be able to get employment. In future, such restaurants can be opened in other places as well.
Reshma Prasad told that the land was given by Patna Municipal Corporation behind Mona Cinema Hall located in Gandhi Maidan, Patna. A two-storey building has been built on it. For this, he expressed his gratitude towards Bihar Government and Patna Municipal Corporation. Reshma Prasad tells that she was making continuous efforts from the year 2017 to start Satrangi Dostana Restro. Its opening is the result of his struggle. She gives credit for this to her entire team and people who cooperate.
