There was chaos in the busiest market of Harduaganj town on June 10 at 9 pm due to sudden firing. People in the car accused the bike-borne attackers of firing. These people also showed the bullet marks on the car to the police who reached the spot. Many people reached the police station to protest against the incident and demanded action from the police. A case was registered in this matter late at night.

Pintu Chaudhary of Shahpur village has a dairy and sweets shop near the PAC drain. On June 10, at around 9 pm, his son Vicky Chaudhary reached Jawahar Chowk of the town with driver Naveen. Here, horn and hooter were blown to remove the bike parked on the road. During this, two youths came there and showed their dominance and fired directly. Luckily, the bullet hit the edge of the car’s roof a little above the glass, due to which the car occupants narrowly escaped. Here, there was chaos in the market after the firing. By the time anyone could understand anything, the bike-riding attackers fled towards the Gramin Bank.

Some shops had already closed during this time. The shutters of the remaining shops also started falling down. Late night, about 40-50 people reached the police station in support of the car riders and started protesting against the incident and demanding the arrest of the attackers. After the incident, the police was trying to identify the attackers by examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the market.
