Birth and death certificates are being made in fake manner in Aligarh Municipal Corporation. This has been revealed in the investigation conducted by the Municipal Commissioner on the complaint of the Municipal Corporation Councilor. Ward No. 54 councilor Sanjeev Kumar told that in relation to the case, the applicant woman taunted him and said that he could not get the birth certificate made, but she got the birth certificate made in three days. Here, when the QR code of the birth certificate was scanned during investigation, its details were missing from the portal. In this case, a case has been filed by the birth-death certificate clerk on the instructions of the Municipal Commissioner. The investigation has also been handed over to the Assistant Municipal Commissioner.

This matter was brought before Municipal Commissioner Amit Aseri two days ago by Ward 54 councilor Sanjeev Kumar. At the same time the Municipal Commissioner handed over the investigation to the Assistant Municipal Commissioner. The investigation was still going on. Meanwhile, the councilor reached the Municipal Commissioner on May 2 with the birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation on April 27. This certificate is issued in the name of Manju Saxena daughter of Rajendra Saxena resident of Trimurti Nagar Suraksha Vihar on registration number B-2024:9-90593-005825. In which the date of birth is also mentioned as 1 August 1985. On inspection, it was found that this certificate has been issued with the digital signature of CTO Vinay Kumar Rai, the authorized officer of Zone-1, who was posted here till eight months ago. The officers were stunned to see this. When the QR code printed on it was scanned, its details were missing from the portal.

In just these two things it became clear that the issuing officer is no longer in the Municipal Corporation and the details are missing from the portal. Meaning, the certificate is fake. On this, the Municipal Commissioner immediately instructed the Assistant Municipal Commissioner to file a report. On which a complaint was filed in the Civil Lines police station by Rajkumar Bansal, birth death certificate clerk of Zone-1. Where the police have registered a case under sections of fraud. Inspector Civil Lines has confirmed the case.
