After getting ticket from Aligarh Lok Sabha constituency for the third time from BJP, candidate Satish Gautam reached Aligarh. Returning from Delhi, he reached his parliamentary office from Tappal Toll. Along with him, BJP candidate from Hathras Lok Sabha Anup Valmiki also got a warm welcome. Laddus were distributed, firecrackers were burst and supporters danced to the DJ.
On the night of March 24, BJP released the fifth list for the elections of 18th Lok Sabha, in which two-time MP from Aligarh Satish Gautam was given ticket for the third time. Khair MLA and Minister of State for Revenue Anoop Valmiki was made the BJP candidate from Hathras Lok Sabha constituency. Satish Gautam and Anum Valmiki reached Aligarh from Delhi at 12 noon on 25 March. Both the candidates reached Satish Gautam’s parliamentary office in Vidyanagar via Tappal Toll, Jattari, Gaumat Square, Khair, Andla, Khereshwar Temple, Sarsaul Square, Dubey Padav, Meenakshi Bridge.
BJP’s Aligarh candidate Satish Gautam and Hathras candidate Anoop Valmiki were garlanded with flower garlands in the ground in front of the office. On the occasion of Holi, it started showering gulal. Laddus started being distributed. BJP supporters danced vigorously on the upbeat songs being played by the DJ. In celebration of getting the ticket, BJP leaders like Mayor Prashant Singhal, District Panchayat President Vijay Singh, District President Krishnapal Singh Lala, Metropolitan President Engineer Rajiv Sharma, former District President Gopal Singh, Anil Sengar etc. expressed happiness.
