Amidst the political turmoil in Bihar, BJP has called a meeting of its MPs and MLAs today. The party says that Lok Sabha elections are about to come, a meeting has been called to prepare for the same. Bihar BJP chief said that the party’s strategy for the general elections will be discussed. On the question of alliance with JDU, he said that no such thing has been discussed at our level. However, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said that no door is ever closed in politics. Every door can be opened as per need.
Congress leaders also meeting today
At the same time, Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan has also called a meeting of MLAs and former MLAs at 2 pm in Purnia. Khan refuted rumors that the meeting had nothing to do with current political developments. All the leaders will discuss the preparations related to Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Let us tell you, the Yatra will enter Bihar on 29th January. The first public meeting will be held in Kishanganj. After this, there will be a rally in Purnia on 10th and Katihar on 31st.
Transfer of IAS-IPS officers
Transfer orders of IAS officers were issued on Friday evening and then by nightfall, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Home Department issued large-scale transfer orders of Indian Police Service officers. With this order, SPs of many districts have changed. It is being told that in view of the preparations by the Election Commission, the government is issuing the final transfer order.
New SP will come in many districts
According to the transfers made by the Home Department, new SPs have been made in more than a dozen districts. Those cities include Begusarai, Jehanabad, Arwal, Navgachia, Saharsa, Purnia, Khagaria, Araria, Bagaha, Madhepura, Darbhanga, Munger, Sheikhpura and Siwan.
