Out of 51 candidates of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, there are seven candidates who will contest for the fourth time to go to the country’s largest Panchayat after being MPs thrice. There are three candidates who, after being MPs five times, are now being fielded to enter the House for the sixth time.
Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj, Jalaun MP Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma and Hardoi MP Jai Prakash Rawat have been MPs five times. He will enter the fray to reach Parliament for the sixth time.
Rajnath Singh from Lucknow, SP Singh Baghel from Agra, Ashok Kumar Rawat from Misrikh, Mukesh Rajput from Farrukhabad, Jagdambika Pal from Doumariaganj, Kamlesh Paswan from Basgaon and Ramshankar Katheria from Etawah have been MPs thrice. Will contest elections to reach Lok Sabha for the fourth time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Mahendranath Pandey from Chandauli, Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore from Mohanlal Ganj, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti from Fatehpur, Sanjeev Balyan from Muzaffar Nagar, Hema Malini from Mathura, Mahesh Sharma from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti from Fatehpur, Harish Dwivedi from Basti. There are other candidates including Rajesh Verma from Sitapur who have contested the same seat for the third time after being MP from the same seat twice.
