BJP leader Shyam Sundar Vashishtha, operator of guest house and nursing home in Gabhana town in Aligarh, was shot in his house late in the evening of March 10. The family brought him to Varun Trauma Center in Quarsi. Where treatment is going on in critical condition. Here, the police came into action on the news and have started investigation regarding the reasons.
Originally, Shyam Sundar Vashti alias Shyam Pandit, resident of Songra Hall Gabhana, has a guest house and nursing home in the town. He is also socially and politically active. His wife has contested the District Panchayat elections twice in the past. Out of which she had once contested elections under the banner of BJP. In the recent civic elections, he had also claimed the post of Chairman from BJP. Presently active in BJP.
The incident happened late evening on 10th March. Shyam Sundar was sitting in the office near the guest house with a friend who had come from Alwar. After the meeting that lasted for hours, he reached his residence on the second floor late in the evening. According to the family, after coming upstairs, they started cleaning the licensed pistol in the room. Meanwhile, somehow he got shot on his temple. The family members immediately took him to the trauma center of Quarsi. Where all the BJP members, area police and CO Gabhana Shumbhendu reached. After investigation, the doctors found that the bullet had entered from one side and passed through the other side. But the situation is worrying. Till the news was written late at night, the doctors were avoiding saying anything.
According to CO Gabhana Shubhendu, investigation is still going on. What could be the reason can be said only after investigation. The incident happened inside the house. Let us tell you that a murder case was registered against Shyam Pandit in the past. But his name was removed from the investigation conducted at CBCID level.
