BJP has received a big blow in the Lok Sabha election results. BJP was reduced to 33 seats in Uttar Pradesh. BJP has prepared a team to find out the reasons for the defeat. Was there any sabotage in UP’s Bareilly and Aonla Lok Sabha seats or was there some other issue that caused the defeat?
Regarding all these questions, the high command has sent observers to the field. BJP has appointed observers to review the performance in both the parliamentary seats of Bareilly. The teams will review the votes received at every booth in both the Lok Sabha seats on Wednesday.
In such a situation, efforts will be made to find out where the sabotage took place in BJP, where the party workers were not able to woo the voters, why there was opposition, etc. Where BJP candidate Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar got 5,67,127 votes in Bareilly Lok Sabha seat, while INDIA alliance candidate Praveen Singh Aron got 5,32,323 votes.
BJP candidate Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar defeated his rival India Alliance candidate Praveen Singh Aron by 34,804 votes. Here the party’s victory margin was much less than in 2019. In that election, BJP candidate Santosh Gangwar won by 1,67,282 votes.
In fact, in 5 years, the vote share of the BJP candidate could increase by only 1,857 votes. Whereas, the party candidate from Bhojipura and Nawabganj assembly constituencies got less votes than the SP. On the other hand, in Aonla, BJP candidate Dharmendra Kashyap lost to India Alliance candidate Neeraj Maurya by 15,969 votes.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Dharmendra Kashyap got 5,37,675 votes. Whereas, in this election he got only 4,76,546 votes. While BJP has lost 61,129 votes on this seat in the last 5 years. At the same time, BJP has lost voters on both the seats.
In such a situation, despite distributing the benefits of all the schemes of BJP and running continuous campaigns, the decrease in the vote share of the party is a matter of concern at the party level. A review is being started to find out the reason behind this decline in votes. The party has also appointed observers for this.
