Controversial Remark by BJP MLA: Recently, during the special session of Parliament, the opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi made a statement about Hinduism, which created a lot of uproar. Now reacting to his statement, Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Bharat Shetty made a controversial statement. He said that Rahul Gandhi should be locked up inside the Parliament and beaten up.
Speaking on the issue, Mangalore City North MLA Bharat Shetty said, “Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi should be locked up inside the parliament and slapped. This will lead to seven to eight FIRs. If opposition leader Rahul Gandhi comes to Mangalore city, we will make the same arrangement for him as well,” Business Today reported.
‘When Lord Shiva opened his third eye…’
Accusing Rahul Gandhi, the BJP MLA said, “The lunatic does not know that if Lord Shiva opens his third eye, he (LOP) will be reduced to ashes. He has adopted an anti-Hindu policy. It is clear that LOP Rahul Gandhi is a lunatic. He thinks whatever he says about Hindus, Hindus will listen silently. If he speaks in Parliament, local leaders will start wagging their tails here.”
‘It is BJP’s duty to protect Hinduism’
Bharat Shetty said that it is the duty of the BJP to protect Hindu religion and institutions. He said, “Congress has started giving the message that Hindu and Hindutva are different. Such leaders will pose a threat to Hindus in the future.” Shetty further alleged that Rahul Gandhi changes his stance depending on the area he visits. He said, “When he comes to Gujarat, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi becomes an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.”
