Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday evening. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the BJP list. At the same time, all the parties are busy in settling the equation for each seat. In this list, the party has announced the names of its candidates on the seats of Hardoi, Misrikh, Kannauj, Etawah, Hamirpur-Mahoba, Akbarpur Lok, Banda Chitrakoot etc. of UP.

BJP fielded Sadhvi for the third time

History will be made or history will be repeated in Fatehpur Lok Sabha elections 2024. Only time will tell, but BJP has once again fielded Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti to score a hat-trick. On Saturday, as soon as Sadhvi’s name was announced as the Fatehpur Lok Sabha candidate from BJP, there was an atmosphere of happiness among the supporters. No MP has scored a hat-trick in the district yet.

In 2014, for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti reached the Panchayat of Delhi by defeating BSP candidate Afzal Siddiqui by about two lakh votes. For the first time, he got the post of Union Minister of State in the government. For the second time in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had expressed confidence in Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. Living up to it, Sadhvi reached Delhi by defeating BSP’s Sukhdev Verma by a margin of about two lakhs and got the responsibility of Union Minister of State for the second time. Now for the third time, BJP has opened its cards to give him a hat-trick in the Lok Sabha elections.

The special thing is that till now no MP has scored a hat-trick in the district. Santbux Singh became MP from Congress twice in the district in 1967 and 1971. Santbux Singh, who was out to score a hat-trick, lost to Janata Party’s Vashir Ahmed. Similarly, Harikrishna Shastri of Congress became MP twice in 1980 and 1984. For the third time in 1989, he was defeated by VP Singh of Janata Dal.

Due to mid-term elections, VP Singh became MP twice. Similarly, Dr. Ashok Patel became MP twice, but lost to Mahendra Pratap Nishad for the third time in 2004. Till now no MP in the district has created history by winning for the third time. BJP has expressed confidence for the third time by giving ticket to two-time MP Sadhvi. There is also a challenge for them to create history by registering victory.
