On February 29, two organizations of BKU created ruckus at the toll plaza to allow free passage of vehicles at the toll plaza. It included officials and workers of Swaraj faction and Balraj faction. The protesters created a ruckus and quarreled with the toll employees. The uproar calmed down after talks between officials of the organizations, police and toll management.

National President of BKU Balraj faction Balraj Bhati reached the toll along with hundreds of his officials. They alleged that their vehicles were not being taken out for free. Toll employees misbehave with the officials of the organization. The officials reached the toll and started opening the boom. When the employees did not allow the booms to be opened, an argument broke out.

The protesters calmed down after receiving information and talks between the police and toll management. During this, Rekha Siwal, Vipin Khari, Rakesh Bhadana, Rinku Bhadana, Shubham Sharma, Mayank Kisauli, Samesh Sharma etc. were present. Meanwhile, Bulandshahr District President of BKU Swaraj faction Ashok Sharma also reached the toll. He alleged that vehicles were not being removed from the toll on his message. They also created a ruckus and gave a memorandum to the toll manager.

Memorandum given in support of farmers’ demands

District President of BKU Swaraj faction Ashok Sharma gave a memorandum to Tehsildar Priya Garg regarding the problems of farmers. It was said in the memorandum that a law should be made on MSP, farmers’ loans should be waived off, cases filed against farmers during the movement should be returned. The organization also supported the demands of the United Kisan Morcha. Ajay Lodhi, Vinay Kumar, Arman, Shahalam, Mohit Singh, Vinod Chaudhary etc. were present from the Swaraj group.
