In Agra, when there was a jam on the ISBT service road, a dispute broke out between the blood bank employees riding bikes and the scooter riders. The scooter riders surrounded the employee. They caught him under the flyover and beat him up. They hit him on the head and nose with a wrench, leaving him bleeding. After the incident, the attackers snatched away the laptop. The police have registered a case of assault as well as the loss of the laptop.
Shubham Kumar, a resident of Sector-7, Awas Vikas Colony, is an employee at a blood bank located at Delhi Gate. He works as a blood donor at a hospital located at Bhagwan Talkies. On Sunday afternoon, he was going on his bike via the service road via the Gurdwara Guru Ka Tal overbridge.
There was a jam near the ISBT cut. There was an argument over overtaking a scooter rider. The scooter rider called his four friends. They caught him under the ISBT overbridge. The youths had come with wrenches and spanners in their hands. They thrashed him. A crowd of people gathered. He started shouting for help. But the youths kept beating him. Later, when there was a jam, the youths took away his laptop and bag and went away.
Shubham says that the attackers repair vehicles in Transport Nagar itself. He gave a complaint to the police. The police got him medically examined. It is being said that his nose bone is broken. The police have registered a case under sections of rioting, assault and abusive language. It is mentioned in the complaint that the laptop fell down.
