Horror-comedy film ‘Stree 2’ is one of the most awaited films of this year. This film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao seems to be having a good opening at the box office. According to Saccanilk, ‘Stree 2’ has so far earned Rs 35.45 crore on the first day of its release.

‘Thangalaan’ (Thangalaan Box Office Collection Day 1)
Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Tangalan’ is a period-drama directed by P Ranjith. The audience was waiting for the film for a long time. Now after its release, the film seems to be doing good business. ‘Tangalan’ has so far earned a total of Rs 7.08 crore in its first day collection.

‘Veda’ (Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 1)
John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s film ‘Veda’ was also released on 15 August. Through this film, John Abraham has returned to the screens after one and a half years. Despite the clash, this film has collected Rs 3.79 crore so far.

Sanjay Dutt and Ram Pothineni’s film ‘Double Smart’ has also been released. This Telugu science fiction action thriller film directed by Puri Jagannadh is getting a good response from the audience. The film has so far grossed Rs 4.43 crore.

‘Mr. Bachchan’ (Mr. Bachchan Box Office Collection Day 1)
Ravi Teja starrer film ‘Mr. Bachchan’ has also been released on the occasion of 15th August. The film is directed by Harish Shankar. Amidst the mega clash, ‘Mr. Bachchan’ has so far earned Rs. 1.83 crores at the domestic box office.
